Mission-Driven. People-Focused. Results-Oriented.
RAISE YOUR HAND IF THIS IS You
NO. 1
You’re mission-driven and deeply committed. You serve your clients with dignity and respect, partner with board members to raise critical funds, and coordinate volunteers to support wherever help is needed. You represent your organization with pride and you often hear, “Wow, you’re amazing!”
NO. 2
You work long hours under tight budgets and high demands, stay focused on the impact, even when the work feels overwhelming, watch strong team members leave and less-effective ones stay, and keep going because the mission matters.
NO. 3
Behind the scenes, pressure is mounting. Staff are burning out, talented people are leaving, and managers feel overwhelmed and unsupported. Team conflict simmers without resolution, and despite attending workshops or trying new strategies, nothing seems to stick, often making things feel even more chaotic.
You work hard every day. Your mission is what motivates the organization to keep pushing forward.
People management INDIVIDUAL coaching, COHORTS, & Workshops are DIFFERENT
NO. 1
We will focus on significant areas of becoming a great people manager: Self awareness, managing others and managing the business through communication and problem solving. Our time together will also give you space to talk about the fears, frustrations, struggles and successes of implementing new strategies with your team.
NO. 2
Prior to starting individual or cohort, I am available to meet with you and your supervisor for one hour to clarify the your goals while working with me. I want your supervisor to buy-in so you will have support to make time for the sessions and implement new/changed behaviors. If this conversation takes place, I will update your supervisor on the learning topics.
NO. 3
When you tale the time to understand your communication style and how you react, problem-solving becomes clearer and more effective. Having a process matters. Gathering input from your team helps identify root issues rather than just surface-level symptoms. Learning specific communication techniques to address people-related challenges is key to becoming a more grounded, capable manager.
